I have to say... maybe Celibidache's B5 is not bad at all - but when comppared to Mengelberg, Celibidache sucks... and from what I remember, and from the bits I just relistened to, E. Kleiber's B5 and even Karajan's 1963 B5 seem much less rushed and much less hyterical even though the tempo (in the first movement) is about the same (compared to C. Kleiber's)... much more organic... but they all fall flat when compared to Mengelberg though, fuck Mengelberg really plays the orchestra as if it were a piano or sth...
