My assessment (so far) is that it will be mostly window dressing.
As meaningless as Apple's "Innovative BOLD!!!!!!!! New Colors!!!!!!!".

As far as we can tell, Apple hasn't innovated more than a single thing in
the past decade (see the prior thread proving we can't find anything else).
