Well, some of them anyway (there's 50 new games per day on Steam, this is just the handful of scheduled releases that caught my eye). And they said April is the dead season for new releases! Do any look interesting to you? * Bionic Bay (April 17) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1928690/Bionic_Bay/ An Indie puzzle-platformer with gravity, time-control and portal mechanics. I dunno; it sounds like it might be a bit too complex for its own good. * Burden of Command (April 8) https://store.steampowered.com/app/887490/Burden_of_Command/ Part strategy war-game, part adventure. Looks interesting. * Chasmal Fear (April 17) https://store.steampowered.com/app/2597570/Chasmal_Fear/ An Unreal 5 engine survival-horror game. It uses that fish-eyed 'as seen through a body-cam' viewpoint that makes things look oddly realistic. Looks interesting for its graphics alone. * Commandos Origins (April 9) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1479730/Commandos_Origins/ The classic top-down sneak-n-shoot Commandos series makes its return. I always liked the idea of the Commandos games more than actually playing them, but they had their moments. I miss the hand-drawn backgrounds, though. * Cursed Dawn (April 7) https://store.steampowered.com/app/2713550/Cursed_Dawn/ Another FPS; this one a wave-survival game. It sure looks pretty though. * Fool's Apprentice (April 14) https://store.steampowered.com/app/3334430/The_Fools_Apprentice/ Looks like a "Theme Hogwarts" game; manage a magical academy filled with magical hijinx * Old Skies (April 23) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1346360/Old_Skies/ A classic point-n-click adventure involving time- travel. What can I say; I'm a sucker for that sort of game. * Steel Seed (April 10) https://store.steampowered.com/app/458430/Steel_Seed/ Another third-person action platformer; it looks sort of a cross between Dark Souls in gameplay and Metroid in setting. No idea if it'll be any good, but I'll keep an eye on it. * South of Midnight (April 8) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1934570/South_of_Midnight/ A third-person action/adventure set in the American deep south fighting against freaky, otherworld horrors. It's setting is unique but there's little gameplay footage so who knows. * Steel Hunters (April 2) https://store.steampowered.com/app/1691340/STEEL_HUNTERS/ Sure it's a free-to-play online shooter... but it's got giant robots! I'm a sucker for giant robots. Not being the sort to rush out and buy day one, I won't actually be getting any of these in April. Still, it's nice to see what's coming out. The sole exception is the next DLC for American Truck Simulator (Missouri) is coming out on April 3rd. You can bet that one is getting added to my library right away! ;-) Are there any other games you're keeping an eye on?
