I warmed up to Dorico very quickly. Entering notes with Dorico is closer to taking a pencil to staff paper. I used to hand-write pieces on staff paper, then enter them into Finale. I think I can compose straight into Dorico. Shifting things around as you solidify the musical ideas is easier than in Finale.
