Oh, duh. I was looking all over the main window for an option to set the
composition window size (ie without the composition window being open!).

I didn't even look inside the composition window itself (because I thought
it would have been with the Dialog main layout setup for the windows).

My bad. Thanks for that suggestion. Sorry for not looking hard enough.
It was all there all along. Just like you said it would be. My bad.

(Composition window) > Options > Save current window size & pos. as default
