Speed has to measured using intensive data processing like matrix inversion or something similar. But keep in mind that in my fantastic videos a 2K screen, that's 2560 x 1440 pixels, is being grabbed at 15 frames per second while intensive mathematical calculations involving 3D matrix transformations are occurring.
