And yet Microsoft admits that, even on their cloud, Linux is more popular than Windows -- way more popular. Given the higher support costs of Windows, if they’re offering that for free, that’s actually a disincentive for their salespeople to promote Windows over Linux, because the Linux instances are going to be more profitable.
