Enfin pas comme on l'entends en général. Par exemple exprimer x en fonction de y dans l'équation: y = x * exp(x) n'est pas possible. Enfin pas possible avec les fonctions usuelles (de Liouville). Mais si on défini la fonction W(y) comme étant l'inverse recherchée, W(y) exp(W(y)) = y alors oui il y a une équation pour l'expression de x en fonction de y, mais elle est triviale: x = W(y) sam (c'est la fonction W de Lambert au fait)
